Copyediting
I will carefully examine your text to find and correct typos, spelling and grammatical errors, and formatting inconsistencies. I will also ensure proper word usage, fix awkward phrasing, and suggest alternative language as needed. Copyediting does not include reorganization or major rewrites.
Content Editing
In addition to the copyediting services above, I will evaluate your writing’s structure, style, and readability to improve the overall quality of the text. I will offer rewrites, suggest and/or implement strategies for reorganization, and recommend additional research if necessary.
Developmental Consulting
I will conduct a comprehensive review of your project with attention to structure, content, argument, and other high-level manuscript development. This will include detailed feedback and suggestions for reorganization and revisions to enhance clarity, arguments, and narrative flow. If applicable, I will also assess how the project addresses and incorporates peer reviewer comments.
Research
I will conduct thorough, organized academic research on your behalf. This service is limited to sources that are digitally available and may require university library access. I will also organize research you have already accumulated, offer an analysis of source materials, etc.
